We Built

This piece was donated to a local charity auction. The organization wanted a nice patio bench that would seat 2-3 people. They left the design and specifics up to us. This red oak slab was the perfect shape and size for a bench! The half round legs came from the first cut off a post oak log we milled. The first and last cuts typically go unused because of their shape. We like to use them for legs and turning blanks so that no part of the tree goes to waste.

Our Process

1. Request a quote

Fill out our request form with your needs and any ideas. We’ll have a brief conversation where we can collect more details and photos.

2. Proposal Approval

We provide an estimate and basic scope of the project. Review your proposal and decide if you want to carry out the project.

3. Deposit & Design

Upon approval we collect a deposit. Design services, CAD drawings, or 3D models before moving forward with a project are available upon request. Design fees start at $100 for 1 design w/ 2 edits. Design is $55/hr after initial fee.

4. Periodic updates

We will provide a timeline for the project. Photographic updates will be standard. Communication and collaboration can be done via e-mail, text or in person at the shop.
